This project was completed with funding from the Educational IT Summer internship. I explored extracting models from DICOM data, NURBS modelling and rigged human models from DAZ studio.

The animation details the operative techniques and perioperative considerations employed by the University of Toronto’s, Division of General Surgery, for the safe and effective performance of a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy. It provides a step-by-step breakdown of the procedure, while highlighting important technical skills and anatomic landmarks.
